Frederick L. Greene, MD FACS

Frederick L. Greene, MD, FACS (MD at University of Virginia and surgical residency at Yale) was chief of surgical oncology at the University of South Carolina from 1980-97 and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC from 1997-2012. Currently he serves as Medical Director of Cancer Data Services at the Levine Cancer Institute in Charlotte. Dr. Greene is past chair of the CoC and AJCC and has served on the editorial board of the 6th, 7th, and 8th Editions of the AJCC staging manual. He has been a CoC site-visitor for the past 25 years.
